MartStok is a small, senior analytics studio out of Houston, Texas. We work with independent retailers, boutique brands, and small wholesalers who don't have — and don't need — a full-time analytics team, but do need someone who takes their numbers seriously.
I'm Caleb Ledet, founder of MartStok. Before this, I spent nine years inside two Gulf-Coast retail groups — first as an inventory planner, then as head of merchandising analytics. I loved the work. What I didn't love was watching smaller shops down the street run on gut feel because good analytics felt out of reach.
I started MartStok in 2016 to change that. We keep the studio small on purpose. Every client works with a senior analyst — usually me — from the first call. There's no junior handoff, no offshore surprise, no month-three "actually your dashboard is delayed" email.
If you run a shop, a small chain, or a growing brand and you want your numbers to feel less like homework and more like a compass, we'd like to hear from you.
— Caleb Ledet, Founder
We'd rather tell you your best-selling category is actually your least profitable than sell you a prettier chart. Data without honesty is just decoration.
We cap our roster. Every client works with a senior analyst from day one. If we can't do the work well, we don't take it on.
You know your customers better than any dashboard ever will. Our job is to arm your instincts with numbers, not replace them.
Your data is yours. We never resell customer information. Every engagement includes a plain-English data agreement.
You should see something useful in the first two weeks. If we can't earn that, we shouldn't be earning anything.
We're proud to be from Houston. Local retailers get our fastest response times and, when useful, in-person store visits.
Our studio is based in northeast Houston, minutes from Lake Houston. Most of our clients are within a day's drive — Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette — but we work remotely with brands as far as Nashville and Atlanta.

A discovery call is a real conversation, not a pitch. Come with two questions and leave with two ideas — even if you never sign a contract.
